I have a patient addicted to narcotics .. courtesy of other physicians. Postgraduate Medicine: Opioids for chronic nonmalignant pain provides a nice overview of how we SHOULD prescribe narcotics .. if we do .. but I can't (yet) find anything on the best way to taper. We're on wek 2 and he's getting lots of n/v.
