WebMedLit provides a searchable index to many of the journals that now offer full text atricles on the internet,and the National Library of Medicine will soon provide a place for all biomedical journals to publish full text online. This is going to spell trouble for "aggregators" like Ovid who charge insitutions a lot for full text medical journals. NLM expects most medical journals to sign up with them over the next few years .. though many will delay digital submission for a month or two to preserve a subscriber base.
