Medscape has started publishing peer reviewed medical journals on their website. This is changing the landscape for physician portals, but makes things even more confusing for physicians, as the presence of high quality papers from JABFP (Did We Learn Evidence-Based Medicine in Medical School) are present on the same site as articles that are not peer reviewed, and may be biased toward pharmaceutical advertisers.
